THE COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES for Lisbon Falls Christian Academy took place Saturday, June 14, at Lisbon Falls Baptist Church. From left are Pastor John Alden, Jessica Newendyke, daughter of Cory and Esther Newendyke of Litchfield; Emma Gumprecht, daughter of Christian and Nancy Gumprecht of Lewiston; Pastor Christian Gumprecht, Valerie Griffeth, daughter of Matthew and Alice Griffeth of Lisbon Falls; Brooke Gamache, daughter of Ken Gamache of Auburn, Maine and Jessica Mitchell of Edmund, Okla.; and Pastor Jonathan Jones. Commencement speaker, Pastor Christian Gumprecht, spoke to each senior individually giving a brief bio on each and what her future might hold. He then gave the group a challenge to stay true and focused on Jesus Christ as they open this next chapter in their life. A reception in honor of the Class of 2014 was held in the Family Life Center following the commencement exercises.
