BRUNSWICK

Thomas Sterling Shell, 24, of Brunswick was arrested at around 4:30 p.m. July 10 after police responded to a noise disturbance on School Street.

Brunswick Police Capt. Mark Waltz said Shell was involved in a shouting altercation with another person.

“When officers tried to detain Mr. Shell, he refused to comply. He continued to yell and curse at officers, as well as other passersby,” Waltz said.

Shell was charged with disorderly conduct — loud unreasonable noise, and refusing to submit to arrest or detention. He was released on unsecured bail with a Sept. 16 court date.
