After attending the Fryeburg Fair, which followed a long three-hour drive only to find that we had to pay $5 to park in the handicapped area and $10 for each admission, and then to encounter three hours of constant smoke being blown in our faces, we left.

Fryeburg Fair used to be one of the best. They have been very successful with $3.5 million in assets and cash, but I believe the health risks are too great.

The three-hour ride back convinced us that we made a bad choice for the day and will not attend the Fryeburg Fair again until organizers clean up their “act.”

This is a horrible salute to the great state of Maine and the inroads we have made to reduce health risks.

Shame on you folks at the Fryeburg Fair.
