It astonishes me that all the nation’s liberals and radicals complain about our dysfunctional government and blame the Republicans.
They refuse to understand the facts:
Congressmen are elected every two years and reflect the tenor of the country.
Only one-third of the senate is elected every two years; the other two-thirds may be out of sync and not reflect the true desires of their constituents.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is the biggest roadblock, as he refuses to consider every bill passed by the House.
He refuses to allow these bills to be discussed or voted on in the Senate. It is “my way or the highway.”
President Obama is as much to blame as he pushes the boundaries of constitutional law with his recess appointments and presidential edicts.
Their behavior is the true reason for the paralysis of our government.
