Make no mistake about it: A vote for independent Eliot Cutler will help Republican Gov. Paul LePage get re-elected.
Recent polls and experience show that Cutler will not win a three-way race. He takes more votes away from Democrat Mike Michaud than he does Paul LePage – and, like four years ago, LePage will win.
I have worked closely with Mike Michaud for nearly 20 years. When he was president of the Maine Senate, we worked on issues of land conservation and community colleges.
In Congress, he supported LifeFlight of Maine, our emergency medical helicopter service, and funding for agriculture.
He is a good man and cares deeply about Maine. He will make an excellent governor.
Let’s not make the same mistake again and give Paul LePage four more years. Vote for Mike Michaud.
