AUBURN — Senior forward Kaleb Main paced the Edward Little boys basketball team with 23 points as the Red Eddies dispatched Brunswick, 55-44 in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference play on Tuesday.

Following a tie game after one, the Red Eddies (8-0) turned on the jets for a decisive 18-4 second-quarter run.

Elijah Roe contributed a doubledouble for EL with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The Dragons (4-4) attempted to turn the tide in the third quarter behind the shooting from Taran Payne, who finished with a teamhigh 13 points in the losing effort.

Brunswick returns to action this upcoming Tuesday at Cony (7 p.m.).

John Hepburn and Evan Hepburn combined for 27 points as the unbeaten Seahawks (7-0) picked up a Mountain Valley Conference win at Lisbon Falls.

Boothbay led 20-6, 31-11 and 54-18 at the quarter breaks.

Johnny Yim paced Lisbon (3-5) with a game-high 17 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Joe Philbrick and Darren Ward split eight points down the middle.

John Hepburn had 14 points and Evan Hepburn drained three from behind the arc for 13 points.

Lisbon returns to action on Saturday at Madison at 7 p.m.

OAK HILL 60

Dalton Therrien made a key steal then hit a game-winning 3- pointer at the buzzer to lift the host Raiders (2-5) to a come-frombehind MVC win at Wales.

Therrien scored 25 points, with Jonah Martin adding 11 and Connor Elwell 10.

Wiscasset (2-6), which led 12-6, 28-17 and 42-36 at the quarter breaks, were paced by Brandon Sprague’s 24 points. Nathaniel Woodman added 10, with Grant Hefler and Ethan James picking up eight points apiece.

The Wolverines host Monmouth on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The host Guardians darted out to a 9-6 first-quarter lead and pulled away from there for a Western D win at Portland over Richmond, which fell to 4-2 and visits North Yarmouth Academy Jan. 6.

Seacoast Christian (5-1) opened up a 24-13 halftime lead and outscored the Bobcats 21-15 in the third quarter for a 45-28 edge heading to the final frame.

Isaac La Croix had 15 points, with Caleb La Croix and Tim Yeaton adding 14 points apiece for the victors.

Tyler Soucy paced Richmond with 12 points followed by Matt Holt’s eight.

SPRUCE MTN. 47

The Phoenix rallied from a game-long deficit to pull out a KVAC Class B win at Jay.

Morse (6-2) led 12-6, 24-17 and 31- 30 at the quarter breaks, but Spruce Mountain (4-4) outscored the Shipbuilders 17-12 in the fourth to rally.

Deonte Ring paced the Phoenix with 12 points, while Tyler Kachnovich drained a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 10.

Ethan Winglass had a game-high 22 points for Morse, which visits Maranacook on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Casey Watson chipped in eight points, with Keegan McDonough adding seven.
