GORHAM — Sam Kilborn had 17 points and seven rebounds Friday night to lead Gorham to a 53-37 victory against Bonny Eagle in an SMAA schoolboy basketball game.

Gorham (5-3) used a 33-18 run spanning the second and third quarters to take control.

Billy Ruby scored 10 points for Gorham; Trenton Bassingthwaite tossed in eight.

Ben Malloy had 17 points for Bonny Eagle (4-4), including four 3-pointers.

GREELY 50, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 44: Jordan Bagshaw hit a pair of fourth-quarter 3-pointers, including one that gave the Rangers (4-3) their first lead, and they closed with a 20-11 run to beat the Raiders (4-3) at Fryeburg.

Ryan Twitchell led Greely with 24 points and Bagshaw finished with eight for the Rangers, who trailed 30-21 at halftime but pulled within 33-30 through three quarters.

Ryan Gullikson scored 27 points and Jonathan Burk added 10 for the Raiders.

CHEVERUS 55, NOBLE 44: Austin Boudreau had 18 points, including 10 of 10 from the foul line, and five assists to lead the Stags (5-2) against the Knights (0-8) at Portland.

Jack Casale added 15 points for Cheverus.

Brandon Davis led Noble with 15 points and seven boards. Britton Study added nine points.

THORNTON ACADEMY 80, SCARBOROUGH 74: Corey Hart scored 24 points as the Golden Trojans (2-4) toppled the Red Storm (6-3) at Saco.

Kevin Barrett scored 23 points and Ben Lambert added 16 for Thornton.

Milani Hicks had a game-high 32 points for Scarborough. Nathaniel Wessel added 14 points, Jacob Gardner 12 and Emmett Peoples 11, including three 3-pointers.

MORSE 70, MARANACOOK 65: Ethan Winglass scored 20 points and Keegan McDonough added 19 for the Shipbuilders (7-2), who took a 26-14 first-quarter lead and held off the Black Bears (3-6) at Readfield.

Emil Stockholm chipped in 13 points, including three 3-pointers for Morse, which led 58-51 going into the fourth quarter and made foul shots down the stretch.

Cam Brochu scored 20 points, Kent Mohlar added 13, Levi Emery 12 and Jason Brooks 11 for Maranacook.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 58, A.R. GOULD 32: Caleb LaCroix scored 15 points to lead Seacoast Christian (6-1) over the Bears (1-6) at South Berwick.

Mohamed Roon contributed 10 points for A.R. Gould.

DEERING 72, MARSHWOOD 63: Garang Majok had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Rams (6-2) past the Hawks (3-4) at Portland.

Malik White had eight of his 10 points in the second quarter as Deering used a 23-13 run to take a 35-27 halftime lead. Jacob Coon added 10 points and 10 boards.

HOCKEY

WINDHAM 6, MASSABESIC/BONNY EAGLE/OLD ORCHARD BEACH 3: Zack Callahan scored four times for the Eagles (3-2-1), who allowed the first goal but then scored six straight against Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard Beach (2-6) at Gorham.

Keegan Pock added two goals and two assists, and Jack Gresh collected two assists for Windham, which scored three times in a two-minute stretch early in the first period, then added two in the second.
