STANDISH — Ben Malloy scored 33 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Bonny Eagle to a 60-41 victory against Thornton Academy in an SMAA schoolboy basketball game Saturday.

Bonny Eagle (5-4) led 20-17 after one quarter and outscored the Trojans 33-18 over the second and third.

Kevin Barrett led Thornton (2-5) with 20 points. Corey Hart scored 11.

KENNEBUNK 67, FREEPORT 44: Zachary MacKinnon made six 3-pointers and finished with 30 points to lift the Rams (3-4) over the Falcons (0-7) at Freeport.

Jack Lapham added 15 points and Travon Bradford scored 14 for Kennebunk, which outscored Freeport 33-6 in the second quarter to build a 41-17 halftime lead.

Jack Davenport led the Falcons with 18 points.

SOUTH PORTLAND 88, MASSABESIC 68: Jaren Muller scored 26 points and pulled down nine rebounds, and Jordin Jackson added 19 points and seven boards as the Red Riots (7-2) downed the Mustangs (1-7) at South Portland.

Kam Harper and Matt Pelletier added 12 points apiece for South Portland, which outscored the Mustangs 19-9 after leading 43-35 at halftime.

Daniel Amabile led Massabesic with 23 points, including four 3-pointers. Matthew Prokey added 14 points for the Mustangs.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 50, WISCASSET 48: Luke Thombs scored 14 points, and Hunter Richardson and Kasey Smith added 13 each to help Monmouth Academy (6-3) edge the Wolverines (2-7) at Wiscasset.

Brandon Sprague paced the Wolverines with 17 points.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 61, SACOPEE VALLEY 51: Jake Malcom scored 23 points, including going 9 of 10 from the foul line, and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Panthers (4-3) past the Hawks (1-5) at Yarmouth.

Eoin Anderson added 18 points and 10 rebounds for NYA, which led 33-25 at halftime and maintained its lead through the second half.

Blake Trueworthy led Sacopee with 17 points, including four 3-pointers.

MADISON 73, LISBON 48: The Bulldogs (8-1) used a 39-17 run in the second half to beat the Greyhounds (3-6) at Madison.

CAPE ELIZABETH 50, FALMOUTH 45: Eddie Galvin scored 19 points and Justin Guerrette added 15 for the Capers (5-2), who built a fourth-quarter lead and held off a late charge by the Yachtsmen (4-3) at Cape Elizabeth.

Jack Simonds scored a game-high 27 points for Falmouth.

YORK 69, TRAIP ACADEMY 63: Spencer Cribby scored 16 points for the Wildcats (4-3), who rallied past Traip Academy (2-3) at York.

York trailed 51-46 through three quarters before pulling ahead.

Daniel Tokarz contributed 19 points for the Rangers.

YARMOUTH 65, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 51: Jordan Brown scored 21 points as Yarmouth (8-0) overwhelmed the Patriots (3-4) at Gray.

The Clippers sunk five 3-pointers in the final four minutes of the third period to open a 13-point lead.

Cody Cook added 14 points and Adam LaBrie scored 10 for Yarmouth.

Tyler St. Pierre led the Patriots with 17 points. Andreas Kariotis and James Magno finished with 12 apiece.

LAKE REGION 50, POLAND 37: Jack Lesure finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds and five assists to lead the Lakers (5-2) over the Knights (2-5) at Naples.

Nick Hall added 12 points and Quinn Piland scored 11 for the Lakers. Piland had 10 in the first quarter as the Lakers took a 17-11 lead.

Adam Mocciola made five 3-pointers and finished with 16 points for Poland. Alan Young chipped in 15 points.

HOCKEY

GORHAM 6, GARDINER 0: Carl Bear had two goals and Carter Landry added two goals and an assist to lead the Rams (6-1) past the Tigers (3-3) at Gorham.

Michael Chapin and Travis Mansir added one goal and one assist apiece for Gorham, which led 3-0 after the first period.

Noah Bird made 15 saves to record the shutout. Mike Poirier of Gardiner stopped 24 shots.

SOUTH PORTLAND/FREEPORT/WAYNFLETE 2, LAKE REGION/FRYEBURG ACADEMY/OXFORD HILLS 0: Andrew Whipple scored both goals as South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete (4-3) shut out Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills (3-4) at Portland.

Jason Halvorsen made 18 saves for the shutout. David Long came up with 31 saves for Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills.

BRUNSWICK 3, POLAND/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/OAK HILL 2: The Dragons (6-1) scored three goals in the second period and held off Poland/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill (2-4) at Brunswick.

Andrew Eno, Nate Granholm and Jared Parent scored for the Dragons.

Jason Cote and Ryan Lavoie had third-period goals for Poland/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill.

PORTLAND/DEERING 4, SCARBOROUGH 3: Mason Martell scored 4:47 into overtime as Portland/Deering (4-5) nipped Scarborough (5-3) at Gorham.

Dominic Tocci assisted on all four goals for Portland/Deering, scored by Brent Rickett, Zach Fortin, Cameron King and Martell.

Sam Nygren, Kyle Jacques and Cam Smith scored for the Red Storm.
