BANGOR – Bangor police say they have arrested a man who was driving a car involved in a fatal New Year’s Day crash and charged him with felony operating under the influence.
Police say 42-year-old Shawn Macnevin of Hudson was driving the car that crashed in the early-morning hours. The crash killed 37-year-old Elizabeth Horlieca.
Macnevin was arrested Wednesday.
Police say their investigation into the crash is ongoing. Macnevin was taken to Penobscot County Jail where he is being held.
It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.
