Jan. 22 marked the day when the paper made every English teacher cry.

It’s one of many reasons I find it hard to subscribe to this newspaper.

When I went to school, I would not have passed eighth grade if I didn’t know how to use an adverb. But apparently many employees at the Press Herald skipped that lesson – at least the ones responsible for Page 1 of the newspaper.

“PLAY FAIR”? Really, you should be ashamed. I think most sports heroes don’t play in fairs, but we do want them to play FAIRLY.
