Robert T. MacMahan, HT1- U.S. Navy-Vietnam War Veteran Retired of Clearwater, Fla., and Bath, Maine, funeral service is 10 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2015, at St Mary’s Catholic Church, All Saints Parrish, 144 Lincoln St., Bath, Maine. Graveside funeral services will be noon, Monday, April 27, 2015, at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive (129 Blue Star Ave.), Augusta, Maine, with full military honors by the United States Navy Military Funeral Honors Team.

He was born in Gardiner, Maine, relocated at a young age to Bath, Maine, and resided in Clearwater, Fla., since 2014, when he moved there from Bath, Maine. He was born on July 11, 1943, to Harold and Donna (Betts) MacMahan and he passed away at the Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Fla., on Feb. 28, 2015.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a non-nuclear Welder (Hull Technician 1st Class) and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal; Good Conduct Medal (Fifth Award); Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal; Combat Action Ribbon and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was a member of the American Legion, DAV, Knights of Columbus and the Senior Citizens of Bath, Maine.

He is survived by his loving family: His wife, Karen E. MacMahan of Bath, Maine; a daughter, Michele Sengstock and her husband, David of Bloomington, MN; a brother, Richard MacMahan and his wife, Doreen of Zephyrhills, Fla.; a sister, Dolores Mank of Lisbon Falls, Maine and two grandchildren, Ariana and Katherine Sengstock.
