Auburn police and the Maine Warden Service have called off the search for an Auburn woman who disappeared after being involved in a domestic dispute Wednesday.

Auburn police posted a photograph of Kayla Marin, 21, on the department’s Facebook page and said they needed the public’s help in locating her, but tweeted Wednesday evening that Marin had been in touch with authorities and that the missing-persons alert has been canceled.

Marin was last seen leaving the area of Roy Avenue in Auburn.
