Families took delight in several family-friendly activities during the annual Family Fun Day at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth on Saturday, which included fireworks, a parade, a rock climbing wall, food vendors and much more.

This year’s event, unlike years past, celebrated the town’s 250th birthday. In addition to a group of unicyclists from the Gym Dandies Circus in Scarborough, this year’s Family Fun Day parade featured a 250th anniversary float made by Cape Elizabeth kindergartners that included a paper birthday cake.

Family Fun Day also included an old-time photo booth, a fun run, a free Mad Science show, a petting zoo and music.
