Police have cleared the scene of a crash on the Maine Turnpike in York that backed up southbound traffic for miles Sunday afternoon.
Three cars were involved in the crash, which occurred around 2:30 p.m. at mile 5 between Exit 7 in York and the New Hampshire border, according to the Maine Turnpike Authority.
The crash scene was cleared by 4 p.m.
