The Maine State Museum, in conjunction with Comic Geeks Unite, will host Maine Comic Artist and Writer Show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.
Local artists and writers who make a living in comics will talk about how they got started, what their specialty is, and how they honed their techniques.
Artists will include Rick Parker, Hugh Tims and Lisa Trusian, who collectively have worked for Marvel, MTV and Mattel, according to a news release from the state museum.
