MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Portland Sea Dogs scored five runs in the top of the ninth inning to rally for a 9-6 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium on Monday.

Portland (50-85) trailed 6-4 after New Hampshire (64-68) scored three times in the bottom of the eighth inning, including a two-run single by Jack Murphy. The Sea Dogs rallied on RBI singles by Manuel Margot, Sam Travis and Oscar Tejeda, and a two-run double by Tzu-Wei Lin. Portland scored all five runs in the ninth inning with two outs. Lin’s double to left gave Portland a 7-6 lead.

Portland went up 3-0 in the first inning on a three-run home run by Tejeda.

Portland starter Luis Diaz pitched seven innings, giving up three runs on five hits while striking out four.
