I will be supporting Don Pilon for a second term as Saco mayor in the upcoming election.

He proposed a program to the City Council to help seniors remain in their homes in the face of rising property taxes. This proposal was turned down by the City Council in his first term as mayor.

He has said he will reintroduce the initiative. The program could definitely help senior citizens living on a fixed income stay in their homes.

Don has indicated to me he will work hard to hold the line on the property tax, even reducing property taxes if possible.
