I have lived in North Yarmouth for 45 years. On Nov. 3 the town will vote on two questions that will affect the future character of the town. I am writing to express my support for Question 2.
If we approve Question 2, two things will definitely happen: the proposed municipal sewer project will be halted and Wescustogo Hall will be rebuilt. A vote for Question 2 will allow us to hold on to both the North Yarmouth Memorial School and the current town office properties and consider proposals for future development together as a town. It does not, as some claim, call for the school to be sold. Let’s keep our options open and preserve our clean drinking water. I plan on doing this by voting no on Question 1 and yes on Question 2.
