Re: “Maine Voices: LePage’s alleged action against Eves should be in prosecutor’s hands” (Nov. 23):

Kudos to the author, David Jenny, a lawyer who is honest and not afraid to speak the truth. No one, no matter what their position, should be above the law.

It is time to let both the Kennebec County district attorney and the Maine attorney general know that their obligation to the law does not give a pass to anyone, regardless of their position. Far too often we have seen money and power corrupt the legal system.

It is time that these prosecutors step up and do what the law requires. The citizens of Maine need to step up as well and demand that these officials do their job.
