BATH — Hannah Giggey powered her way to 18 points to lead the Mt. Ararat Middle School eighth-grade girls basketball team to a 60- 39 win over Bath on Tuesday.

Kyla Greenleaf added eight points and gamehigh 13 assists in the win.

Mt. Ararat used pressure defense and a quick offensive attack to post a 20-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back, leading 32-17 at the half and 48- 21 at the end of the third quarter.

Bath’s leading scorers were Paige Faulkingham with 13 points and Dory Kulis with 11.
