Ocean Communities Federal Credit Union hired three employees for its team.
Stephanie Hatch was hired as a teller at the Kennebunk branch. Taylor Williams and Kristine Bernier were hired as call center representatives for the credit union’s Sanford branch.

   Heather Willey-Toussaint, of Minot, joined TD Bank as branch manager in Portland.
Prior to joining TD Bank, Willey-Toussaint served as Tri-branded branch manager at Enterprise Holdings at the Portland International Jetport.

 

 

Chris Byrne joined Norton Financial Services as Internet technology manager.
Byrne, of Cumberland, comes to Norton with a strong IT background as founder and president of Cogent Information Systems / EZBackup.com for 14 years. He was previously with Commonwealth Financial Network as manager of field technology.

 

 

Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has hired Ruth Dunbar as vice president, trust officer and John Testa as vice president, trust investment officer to Bar Harbor Trust Services. Dunbar, of Holden, began her career in banking in 1987. She previously served as senior vice president, senior fiduciary officer at People’s United Bank since 2013.
Testa has over 10 years of investment experience managing endowments and foundation funds. In 2010, he joined Morgan Stanley in Hartford, Connecticut, as a registered associate.

 

 

 

 

The following people were hired at Baker Newman Noyes.
Gilda Bryand, of Portland, was hired as an administrative assistant in the tax practice. She earned a bachelor’s degree in human services from the University of Rhode Island.
Jordan Emery, of Skowhegan, joined as a staff member in the tax practice. Emery completed accounting courses at the University of Maine.
Jacqueline Guerin, of Sanford, was hired as a paraprofessional in the tax practice. Guerin attends York County Community College working toward her degree in business.
Diane Kandilakis was hired as a consultant in the healthcare consulting practice.
Kristie Krouse joined as an administrative assistant in the operations department. Krouse serves as treasurer for the Gorham Cooperative Preschool and a board volunteer for the Southern Maine Youth Hockey Association.
Lauren O’Neil was hired as an administrative assistant in the tax practice.
Roshay Reddy, of Boston, was hired as a senior in the tax practice. Reddy earned a master’s degree in accounting in 2009 from Vanderbilt University.
Nicole Shaffer, of Gorham, was hired as a proposal coordinator in the marketing department. Shaffer earned her degree in advertising/public relations and history from Pennsylvania State University.

PROMOTIONS

Baker Newman Noyes recently announced 13 promotions and eight new hires in its Portland office.
Adam Aucoin, Drew Blaney, Kelly Bristol, Dan Gayer and Remy Vazquez were promoted to managers in the firm’s tax practice.
Aucoin, of Buxton, joined the firm in 2012.
Blaney, of Boothbay Harbor, earned a master’s degree in taxation from Bentley University.
Bristol, of Skowhegan, earned a master’s degree in business administration from Thomas College.
Gayer, of Cape Elizabeth, specializes in closely-held businesses, with a focus on complex federal and state tax issues.
Vazquez, of Lake Worth, Florida, is a member of the firm’s estate and gift tax practice. Vazquez specializes in income and estate tax planning and compliance.
Pamela Cook was promoted to senior manager in the health-care consulting practice. Cook specializes in reimbursement services for hospitals, rural health clinics and physician groups.
Tiffany Edwards was promoted to senior manager in the audit practice. Edwards specializes in the commercial and hospitality industries, as well as employee benefit plan clients.
Courtney Francis, of Caribou, was promoted to senior in the tax practice. Francis joined the firm in October 2014.
Josie Hajdysz was promoted to senior accounting coordinator in the finance department.
Greg Knight, of Portland, was promoted to senior in the health-care consulting practice. Knight specializes in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement for hospitals.
Josh Lapierre, of Freeport, was promoted to senior manager in the tax practice. Lapierre has been with the firm since 2010, having previously interned at BNN in 2009.
Stephanie Richio and Dianne Rodrigue were promoted to managers in the firm’s health-care consulting practice.
Richio, of Cape Elizabeth, specializes in reimbursement services for hospitals, rural health clinics and physicians’ groups. She has been with the firm since 2008.
Rodrigue specializes in medical chart auditing, clinical documentation improvement and provider education.

Leah Punch was promoted to loan servicer at Community Credit Union.
Punch was previously the new accounts member representative. She attended Central Maine Community College, New England College of Business and has completed Certified Teller Training.

 

Laurie Pelletier was promoted to vice president of lending at Community Credit Union. She previously worked as vice president of branch operations.

 

 

 

 

Ashley Ward was named asset quality representative at Community Credit Union. Ward, of Sabattus, previously worked as a member representative.

Bath Savings Institution promoted two bank officers to senior vice presidents.
Theresa Hodge, of Topsham, was named senior vice president and senior commercial lender. She has worked for Bath Savings for more than 12 years.
Julie Wagoner, of Yarmouth, was promoted to senior vice president – community development and commercial lending. Wagoner has been with Bath Savings for 15 years.

Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution promoted Brian Ballute and Stephanie Paquet to vice presidents and DeAnn Lewis to assistant vice president.
Ballute, of Saco, joined SBSI in 2012 as an assistant treasurer. Ballute previously served as a senior associate auditor at KMPG in Boston.

 

Paquet, of Saco, was hired in 2009 as a retail
retirement program manager. She recently held the position of deposit support manager. She previously worked for Bangor Savings and Pepperell Bank & Trust.

 

 

 

Lewis, of South Portland, joined SBSI in February 2015 as a general bank auditor. She previously worked as an audit analyst with Iberdrola USA and brings more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry.

 

 

 

Franklin Savings Bank has promoted Bernice Cote to assistant vice president for customer service.
Cote, of Wilton, has been a customer service officer since 2013 and also oversees the bank teller training program.

 

 

 

BOARD APPOINTMENTS
Androscoggin Bank’s MainStreet Foundation named Lacey Gammon and Dennis Lajoie to its board of directors.
Gammon, of Andover, is a loan operations representative at Androscoggin Bank.
Lajoie, of Hebron, is the vice president of economic development and housing at Community Concepts Inc.

AWARDS and RECOGNITIONS
Ryan Hale, an adviser with Kennebunk Investment Services, was recognized as one of the nation’s Top 50 Bank and Credit Union Advisors for 2015 by Bank Investment Consultant. Hale lives in Kittery.
