PORTLAND – Maine Republican Gov. Paul LePage will hold his next town hall on Wednesday, June 22, in Richmond.

LePage touts his town halls as a way to reach Maine people directly and answer their questions.

The forum will take place at Richmond High School at 132 Main Street. Seating begins at 5:30 p.m. for the town hall, which start at 6 p.m. and runs for an hour.

LePage will discuss initiatives aiming to further reduce the income tax, reform welfare, cut energy costs and address the high student debt burden.

He will also address upcoming five referendum questions on the November ballot: including instituting ranked-choice voting, legalizing the recreational use of marijuana and expanding background checks for firearm purchases.
