BIDDEFORD — Billy Ray Vachon, 32, beloved husband of 12 years to Joy Searles Vachon and proud father of Brayden, 10, and Dylan, 7, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016, as a result of an automobile accident.

Born in Biddeford, he was the son of Elaine Libby Vachon and the late Joseph Zoel Vachon. Billy attended Sanford High School and served in the U.S. Navy Amphibious Construction Battalion.

He was an accomplished welder and recently a small business co-owner in Sumter, South Carolina, where he resided with his family.

Billy will be greatly missed by his family!

There will be a memorial remembrance in his honor from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Springvale Social Club Function Hall.
