NEW HIRES
Portland Trails hired Jennifer Goldman as its new advancement manager.
She brings more than 20 years of development and nonprofit experience to Portland Trails, previously serving as director of development and external relations for the Restorative Justice Institute of Maine.

Brad Bosse was named director of sales for Embassy Suites Portland.
He directs areas of the hotel, including guest services, sales and marketing efforts and hotel administration.

 

Tyler Kidder joined Efficiency Maine as a communications manager.
Kidder most recently served as the assistant director for sustainable programs at the University of Southern Maine.

Cathy Liston was appointed vice president claims, group and voluntary insurance at Sun Life Financial.
Most recently, she was vice president of group disability and life claims at Prudential Financial.

CBRE | The Boulos Co. has hired Cole Smith as an associate.
Smith, of Scarborough, assists in the brokerage duties for the company in greater Portland.
He currently serves in the Army Reserves as a military police officer.

PROMOTIONS
Emerald Hospitality Associates has promoted Josh Cushing to regional manager.
He has been the general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport.
Cushing will oversee the operations of hotels in Maine, Massachusetts, Ohio and Michigan.

The Maine Development Foundation appointed Anne Ball as interim program director for its Maine Downtown Center.
She has served as a consultant for the center since 2012, and has been heavily involved in Healthy Maine Streets Program, Grants to Green, and Making Headway in Your Community.

Peter Eglinton has been promoted as deputy director of Efficiency Maine.
He joined the company in 2014 as the director of programs and operations after serving as the chief operations officer at Portland public schools.

Greg Leclair has been promoted to controller at Efficiency Maine.
He joined Efficiency Maine in 2010 as a senior accountant and served as business manager from 2012 to 2015. He previously worked in accounting and financial management at KempGoldberg.

Brian Cliffe was named president and general manager of WCSH-6 in Portland.
Cliffe, who was director of sales for WCSH-6, will also oversee WLBZ-2 in Bangor. He replaces Steve Carter, who recently was named president and general manager of KUSA in Denver, Colorado.
Cliffe had been director of sales at WCSH and WLBZ since 2009. He joined the station as an account executive in 1992. He became regional sales manager in 2007 and sales manager in 2008.

Community Credit Union appointed Jennifer Hogan to president and CEO.
She previously worked for Community Credit Union for four years as executive vice president and five years as marketing director.
