I am a somewhat expatriated Maineiac who has been a staunch Republican since I was old enough to vote. Because I hold the state of Maine and Mainers in such high regard, it defies my comprehension as to why the Legislature has not initiated impeachment proceedings against Gov. Paul LePage.
The governor is an embarrassment to Mainers and Maine values. His remarks about people of various ethnicities coming to Maine and dealing drugs cannot be backed up by FBI crime statistics and have no place here in God’s country.
Instead of uniting Mainers, Gov. LePage is dividing us with his abrasive and uncalled-for rhetoric, and he needs to go!
