BRUNSWICK — The public is invited to the next Thornton Oaks, Town Matters on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 3:30 p.m. to learn about the Brunswick Area Student Aid Fund. Daniel P. Doiron, a CPA with Albin, Randall & Bennett and a trustee of the fund, will be here to discuss the history and current work of the BASAF, which provides scholarships to students from Brunswick, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell and Topsham. This event is free.

Thornton Oaks Retirement Community is a homeowners cooperative and includes 46 cottages and 98 apartments located on 29 wooded acres in Brunswick. Thornton Oaks is affiliated with Mid Coast Parkview Health Services.
