The Edgecomb Community Church is undertaking a renewed fundraiser from a few years ago. Super Bowl subs will be made and sold by the church’s mission committee in order to raise funds for their ongoing local charitable works.
Feb. 5, Super Bowl Sunday, will be the day on which members will make and deliver pre-ordered subs to local residents. A choice of ham or vegetable subs with all the fixings will be made on white or wheat 6-inch sub rolls. A small bag of chips and a small soda will accompany each sub order.
Orders can be made by obtaining an order form from the church or from any church member, or by calling Marjorie DiVece at (207) 882-6338 to place an order. Orders will then be made available for pickup at the church, Sunday, Feb. 5, from 1-3 p.m. Delivery can also be arranged. Each sub will cost $7, including chips and soda.
Edgecomb Community Church, UCC, is located at 15 Cross Point Road, Edgecomb. Orders will be taken until Feb. 3.
All proceeds will benefit the church’s mission giving efforts.
