BIDDEFORD — Matthew Raymond Binette passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017.

He was born in Biddeford on Nov. 4, 1984, and is the son of Ronald Binette and Lynne Belanger. Matthew lived locally and attended Saco schools.

A lifelong enthusiast of any adventure he could find, his interests included hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and anything that was in the great outdoors. Matthew could often be found helping his father on construction sites and bringing those skills to family members who needed a helping hand with projects around the house.

Matthew is survived by: his father, Ron; mother and stepfather, Lynne and Lou; four sisters, Meagan Allen, Caitlin Binette, Jillian Gentile and Hayley Bilbrey; his grandmother, Lorraine Binette; his grandfather, Edmund Fearon; many aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; countless cousins and friends; and his little buddy Leeland.

Visiting hours will be 3-6 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Biddeford.
