She was born Aug. 7, 1926 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, a daughter of Francis C. and Jennie (DeAndrus) Spezzano and was educated there, graduating from Lawrence High School in the Class of 1944.
She had been employed with Western Electric in North Andover, Massachusetts, Raytheon Corporation in Andover, and last worked with Honeywell Corp. in South Lawrence, Massachusetts. She had retired in 1986.
On June 13, 1970 she married Robert H. Robida in Methuen, Massachusetts.
Catherine enjoyed oil painting and playing cards.
She was predeceased by Robert, her husband of 39 years on April 1, 2010.
Surviving are a son, John A. Perillo of Pelham, New Hampshire; a daughter, Janet Perillo of Lawrence, Massachusetts; a stepdaughter: Claire Talbot and her husband Donald of Cumberland; three stepsons, Paul Robida and his wife Joyce of Biddeford, Marc Robida and his wife Lorraine of South Berwick, and John M. Robida and his wife Maria of Boynton Beach, Florida; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours. Graveside services and burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford will be private. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St. Biddeford, ME 04005.
