Jalen Jones scored 30 points to lead the Maine Red Claws to a 110-82 victory over the Iowa Energy in Des Moines, Iowa.

Trailing 18-16 after the first, the Red Claws (24-16) posted a 63-37 advantage over the second and third quarter to pull away.

Marcus Georges-Hunt, Demetrius Jackson and Abdel Nader each scored 14 points for Maine. Jackson added eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

The Red Claws shot just 11 of 42 on 3-pointers, but held the Energy (11-29) to 2 of 21 shooting from long range.

Maine turned the ball over just nine times, and Iowa’s 82 points were the second fewest the Red Claws have allowed this season.

Wayne Selden led Iowa with 21 points, and Quinton Chievous added 14.

The Red Claws will return from their eight-game road trip this Thursday to play the Westchester Knicks at the Expo.
