CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Michael LeBarge, 58, of Chesapeake, Virginia, and formerly of Arundel, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017, in Virginia.

He was born in Biddeford, on May 6, 1958, the son of Reginald and Jeanne (Caron) LeBarge.

Michael was employed by the Department of Defense as an A.C. Equipment Repair and Locksmith Specialist, where he left a lasting impression on everyone that knew him for his great sense of humor and clear devotion to the highest standards of excellence in everything he did.

Michael followed all of the New England sports teams, especially the New England Patriots. He listened to 70s classic rock and had a great interest in politics and the Democratic ways. Michael enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking and spoiling his pets, Remy “Remdawg,” Sonny “Mr. Bad Cat” and Shelby “Sissy Face.”

Most of all, he loved his family, especially his son, Thomas, who was his pride, joy and inspiration. 

He was predeceased by his father Reginald LeBarge.

He is survived by his mother Jeanne LeBarge of Arundel; his wife of 29 years Lorri (Davis) LeBarge and his son Thomas LeBarge both of Chesapeake, Virginia; two sisters, Cindy LeBarge of Arundel and Dolores Cluff of Hampton, Connecticut.

Visiting Hours will be 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James St., Saco, with a Funeral Service at noon. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Biddeford.
