CHILDREN PLAY at last year’s Brunswick Downtown Association’s community barbecue. The event returns to the Mall on Saturday, featuring live music, games and entertainment. The cost is $5 per person and $3 for children under age 5. Proceeds go toward funding the BDA’s year-round community events, such as music on the Mall and the holiday tree lighting. The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is sponsored by Hannaford, Sunnybrook, Avita, ReMax Riverside Real Estate, The Highlands, Performance Foodcenter, Ray Labbe & Sons and Lowe’s.
