Sagadahoc Sheriff’s Office wants help finding a suspect responsible for a rash of daytime burglaries reported Thursday.

The sheriff ’s office announced on Facebook the burglaries occurred between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Two burglaries occured on West Road, one on Wood Schoolhouse Road and one on Meadow Road. Jewelry and cash were stolen.

“We are trying to identify any other potential victims and/or if anyone had a subject knock on their door who may have, once they realized you were there, made up an excuse such as looking for a lost dog or pet, a friend, or a business in the area,” Facebook post states.

The suspect or suspects may have been using a car, according to the sheriff ’s office.
