Code enforcement update
While the town is in the process of recruiting a new code enforcement officer/department head, a number of arrangements have been made to process permits during the transition.
For permitting (except electrical), contact Code Enforcement Administrative Assistant Mary Quirk at 655-4742 ext 161. Inspections can be scheduled with one of the area code enforcement officers (as their schedules permit), by contacting Quirk as well.
For electrical permitting/inspections only, contact CMP at 800-750-4000 and select option 4 for electrical permitting and inspections.
It is anticipated a full-time code enforcement officer will be on staff by the middle of October.
