WESTBROOK — A Standish woman has been arrested following a fatal hit and run Tuesday night.
Natasha D. Field, 32, was arrested at a Standish residence after she fatally struck Sharon E. Crawford, 51, of Westbrook. Field has been charged with aggravated leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and violating condition of release.
The incident took place Sept. 26 at the intersection of William Clarke Drive and Stroudwater Street where Crawford was crossing the road. She died at the scene.
The intersection was closed from around 7:45 to 11 p.m. Westbrook Police, with the assistance of Windham Police, reconstructed the scene of the crash Wednesday.
Field was located and arrested at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday by Westbrook detectives. According to Westbrook Police, she is being held at Cumberland County Jail pending arraignment. No further details were available Wednesday morning.
