STANDISH — Junior guard Kelsi McNamara scored a game-high 23 points to power the Saint Joseph’s College women’s basketball team past Emmanuel College, 69-55, Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action on the Andy Yosinoff Court.
In a rematch of the 2017 GNAC Championship, the Monks jumped out early and held off several rallies by the hosts.
Former Brunswick High School standout Julia Champagne had a double-double for the Monks, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Saint Joseph’s returns to action this upcoming Saturday against Rivier University at 1 p.m.
