PORTLAND — PDT Architects recently hired Dylan Lawton and Cristian Koenigs as architectural designers.

Lawton has a B.S. in architecture from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, where he was named Outstanding Club Sport Athlete of the Year for 2016-17 and was captain of the cheerleading team.

A native of St. Albans, Vermont, he has worked for Hertz and Old Navy in Vermont and at the Tutoring Center at Roger Williams.

Lawton is currently working on projects for Central Maine Medical Center and Casco Bay High School.

A graduate of Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans, he lives in Portland.

Koenigs has an architecture degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. At UMass, he was active in the American Institute of Architecture Students organization and was a resident assistant. A graduate of Old Orchard Beach High School, he has worked at Grand Real Estate Management and Pirate Cove Adventure Golf, and volunteered at the Edith Belle Libby Memorial Library. He lives in Old Orchard Beach.
