A Windham heating and cooling contractor is adopting a new name.

ReVision Heat, which has offered alternative and sustainable heating options for Maine homeowners, is changing its name to True North Energy Services.

The company, formed in 2008, was originally an offshoot of ReVision Energy, a solar energy contractor. It offers wood, heat pump and natural gas heating as alternatives to oil heating systems, and is expanding its product line to include air conditioning systems.

True North Energy Services’ owners, Pat Coon and Lee Landry, said the new name is intended to reflect the company’s wider focus, as well as establishing a clear line between the company and ReVision Energy. The two companies are no longer connected.
