WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — Gerald (Jerry) Polley 76, of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away on Feb. 13, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

He was born Nov. 6, 1941 and predeceased by his parents, Leon and Nellie Polley.

Jerry graduated in 1960 from Sanford High School and from there he joined the US Navy with best friend Andy Anderson, He landed his dream job of truck driving across county where he met the love of his life, Ginger, who became his wife.

He loved riding his Harley Davidson and heading to Sturgis and to ride in his Corvette. On Sundays he’d sit by the TV and watch his New England Patriots and NASCAR.  His favorite part of his retirement was his walks with his dog Rugar.

He also is predeceased by his brother George Polley.

He is survived by his daughters Lisa Boston and husband Bill of Sanford Maine; Kimbaly Phinney of Shapleigh, Maine, Jodi Worm and husband Daryl of Indiana and Dusti Manning of Illinois; son Jason Anderson of Minnesota; 14 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. Jerry also survived by brother Steven Polley and companion Carol Pelletier of Sanford, Maine.
