Robert Winn is a dear and treasured friend, an honest, kind and generous man and a person of impeccable integrity. I feel privileged to vote to re-elect him to the Ogunquit Select Board in June.

Many of Bob’s contributions are unseen. In the winter, he rises early to shovel snow for several elders in the community. When he learns of a need, he shows up to assist in any way that he is able, asking nothing in return.

He has volunteered his time and equipment to support various charities such as the Frannie Peabody Southern Maine AIDS Walk/5K Run and the Ogunquit Lobster Dash.

Signs of Bob’s contributions are visible throughout Ogunquit. About 20 years ago, he and his shop students constructed wooden enclosures for the town’s trash cans. Bob and his students built the ticket kiosk at Main Beach that houses the parking lot attendants. The cost to the town were the monies needed for building materials.

His skills in design of structures, and his experience in building them, are invaluable as we embark on improvements to our infrastructure.

As a beloved teacher and a coach, his mentoring has formed fine members of our extended community.

As a Select Board member he has been an asset to the town of Ogunquit. He has served us well, working diligently and thoughtfully. He has had a level head, no personal agenda and is committed to the betterment of the town of Ogunquit.

We are privileged to have him among us, willing to serve in any way he can. I am honored to call him friend and to cast my vote for him June 12.
