As a Maine district attorney, I know firsthand what the job entails, and I know Frayla Tarpinian would make an excellent district attorney for Cumberland County.

Frayla wants to get smart on crime, diverting low-level drug possession cases and focusing resources on serious, violent offenders. Frayla has been successful at handling numerous felony criminal jury trials while also working as a supervisor, handling personnel matters, creating policy, mentoring newer attorneys, writing successful grants and thoroughly understanding the systems at work in a modern District Attorney’s Office.

Further, Frayla has firsthand experience administering restorative justice and working with the participants of our veterans court. I know she will bring a veterans court and other alternative sentencing programs to Cumberland County, saving taxpayer money and reducing recidivism.

Without hesitation I recommend her for her strong work ethic, her compassion for others and her dedication to justice. Please join me in supporting Frayla for district attorney – and vote for her in the June 12 Democratic primary!
