Maine House District 40, which is comprised of Bayside, East Bayside, Parkside and Oakdale, needs a strong leader in Augusta, and that leader is Rachel Talbot Ross.

I care about the issues that affect the people in my district. House District 40 is the most racially and economically diverse district in Maine. Poverty, equal access to education, housing for the low-income, the workforce and support for the elderly are just some of the issues facing this district.

As an exceptional advocate for the residents of House District 40, Rachel will no doubt continue to build on her current efforts, and as a collaborative leader, will continue problem-solving the issues that impact our community. Since I have known Rachel for more than a decade, she’s been a strong advocate for Mainers from all backgrounds, but especially for those struggling with poverty and those who are incarcerated. We need Rachel in Augusta because she is a fierce advocate for the residents of this district and she brings expertise and experience.

I urge my fellow Maine House District 40 residents to use their vote to support Rep. Rachel Talbot Ross in the June 12 Democratic primary.
