A BOWDOINHAM MAN was taken to Maine Medical Center Wednesday night with lifethreatening injuries following a motorcycle crash in Topsham, according to police. The crash was reported just after 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Elm Street and Foreside Road. Topsham Police Sgt. Mark Gilliam said the motorcyclist was traveling on Elm Street toward the intersection, crossed the median and crashed the Harley Davidson. A passerby found him in the roadway and called for help. Gilliam said the 54-year-old man was not wearing a helmet. Topsham police are not releasing the victim's name until his family is notified. The crash remains under investigation.
