After the chase ended in Greene on Wednesday morning, agents from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency searched Morin’s car with the help of a drug-sniffing dog. Police said they recovered 1,600 grams of cocaine with a street value estimated at $160,000, along with cash and drug scales.

Investigators from the MDEA and the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office also searched Morin’s home at 9 Hill Rock Circle in Buckfield, according to Oxford County Sheriff Christopher Wainwright.

Police did not disclose what was found inside the home. Morin is scheduled to make an initial court appearance Friday afternoon. Police said he could face additional charges related to the chase, which started in Oxford County and ended in Greene.

Police said they could see Morin throwing items out of his window during the pursuit. The chase ended when the black Nissan sedan driven by Morin slid into a ditch at the corner of Sawyer and North Hatch Hill roads in Greene.
