BIDDEFORD — The Biddeford High School boys basketball team picked up its second win of the season on Thursday as the Tigers earned a 34-33 win over visiting Westbrook.
Kelvin Omeze was fouled with just .6 seconds left in regulation after he grabbed an offensive rebound — and the sophomore connected from the charity stripe to give the Tigers the victory.
Alex McAlevey led Biddeford (2-7) with 11 points and Ashton Crowell finished with eight points.
Windham 48, Sanford 30
Dierhow Bol scored 13 points and Ivan Kaffel added 12 to lead Windham over Sanford on Thursday.
John Garnzey led Sanford with 12 points and Ethan Shain chipped in eight.
Thornton Academy 70, Bonny Eagle 62
Payton Jones scored 17 points to help Thornton Academy pick up the win on Thursday.
The Trojans would also get 14 points from Anthony Bracamonte. Will Chapman and Rob Gawronski each had 10 points in the win.

Waynflete 82, Old Orchard Beach 28

Finn Scott put up 20 points to lead Waynflete over OOB on Thursday.

The Seagulls were led by Ryan Crockett with eight points and Zach LaPlante added seven in the loss.

Old Orchard Beach 38, Waynflete 27
The visiting Seagulls (6-2) outscored Waynflete 25-11 over the final two quarters to secure the win.
Shani Plante finished with 22 points and seven steals for OOB, which also got 12 rebounds, six blocks and four points from Maggie Strohm.
