HARPSWELL – The Harpswell Community School’s Chili & Chowdah Challenge will take place Friday, March 22 from 5:30-7:30 pm.
More than 20 chili and chowder dishes from local businesses and residents will be available for taste testing and voting. Other events include a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and a dessert table.
The annual Chili & Chowdah Challenge is a fundraiser held by 4th grade families to raise money for the 4th grade students to visit Chewonki in the Fall, and make a trip to Boston in the Spring, of their 5th grade year.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children, or $20 per family and are available at the door. Pre-purchased ticket holders will be admitted through the Will Call line. Anyone wishing to pre-purchase tickets, or just donate, should visit tinyurl.com/harpswellchallenge.
