
Police are looking for the black car, which is believed to have been the getaway car following a shooting incident Monday.
WESTBROOK— Police are looking for a male suspect following numerous reports of a gunshot on Cross Street.
Residents reported they heard a gunshot on Cross Street near the intersection with Brackett Street around 2 p.m. Monday.
Police interviewed multiple witnesses who described a disturbance during which a male subject fired a handgun and then fled in a waiting black car. Nobody appears to have been injured.
Officers are collecting evidence from the scene and the case will be investigated by detectives, Capt. Sean Lally said Wednesday.
