Tessa the cat is available for adoption through Midcoast Humane (Contributed photo via Midcoast Humane)

Tessa (almost six-years-old) came to Midcoast Humane in 2015. She has been adopted and returned twice after living with each family for at least a year. Her last owner described her as a sometimes cuddle-bug who loves going outside and is a great mouser. When not able to go outside, she likes looking out the window to keep track of the comings and goings.

Tessa has been friendly but not overly attention-seeking during her stay at Midcoast Humane. Her former owner recommended that she should be the only pet because she doesn’t like other cats or dogs and live in an adult-only household. Here at Midcoast Humane, she is in a free-roaming cat room and seems to keep to herself. Tessa is currently on a lower calorie diet to be in great shape for her forever home. A gentle, understanding, torti-loving home would be her perfect match.

Thanks to a generous donor, Tessa’s adoption fee has been waived. Visit her at Midcoast Humane in Brunswick at 30 Range Road. Hours and more information is posted at midcoasthumane.org or call 207-449-1366.
