The Lisbon Harvest Festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 26 from 3-5:30 p.m. with an Oct. 27 rain date. The festival takes place at the MTM Center on 18 School St. in Lisbon Falls.  This free community event includes raffles, pumpkin carving contest, pie eating contests, costume parade, as well as activities run by local non-profit groups, such as bounce house, cake walk, face painting, scavenger hunt, duck pond game and, acorn toss 

Food choices include of pumpkin soup, chili, candy apples, popcorn, and a bake sale. There will be a balloon artist and  visiting emu and alpaca for petting.   

“If it’s true that the benefits of volunteering in your own community not only connects you to others but strengthens the community as well, then Lisbon/Lisbon Falls is the place I’m proud to call my own – my home,” Said Lynette Carver of Crosman Funeral Home in Lisbon Falls and member of the festival planning team in a news release. “The connection and ownership felt by countless community members is alive and strong hereThe Harvest Festival, among many other wonderful community events throughout the year, just brings that point home.”
