BRUNSWICK – Melvin Harrington, 81, of Topsham passed away at Midcoast Hospital on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019.
He was born  on Oct. 3, 1937 in Topsham, a son of Ernest and Ruth (Hazelton) Harrington. He was educated in local schools and went on to work at various shoe factories as well as at JJ Cleaners.
Melvin is survived by his wife Janel Harrington; his children Melvin Harrington Jr., Diane Taylor, Donna Boyea and Sheri Shorette; as well as by his sister Sharon Jewitt. Melvin was predeceased by his son Wayne Harrington.
